"Kuukkeli" Siberian Jay is a common visitor at any campfire site in Lapland. These birds have amazingly adapted to Arctic environment and don't migrate, but stay through the harsh winter. In Finnish and Sami mythology Siberian Jay have considered to be hunters' companion and good luck bird. It has also been called "the bird of soul". People believed dead hunters' souls were transferred to Siberian Jay.
