"Revontulet" (Fox Fire) Northen Lights are common sight in the Arctic sky during the fall and winter. "Firefox" was every hunter's dream catch. It was believed to bring good luck and wealth. People in North believed that this fox was running across the mountains and hills and every time its tail touched the snow or ground it made sparkles flying in the sky. It also was believed to bring bad luck if you sang or whistled when the Northern Lights were in the sky.
Ainut is located in Kittila, North Central Lapland, 150 miles north from the Arctic Circle. It employs two local artisans: Ari "Lake's End" and Milla "Bad River" who have specialized silver and reindeer antler jewelry and traditional Lapland crafts like shaman drums and reindeer antler carvings.
