Raw material of our linen textiles is high quality flax. Taken care of it the right way the textiles last for generations!
Lapuan Kankurit is the first Finnish weaving mill whose high-quality linen textiles have been accepted into the valued company of European Masters of Linen textiles. The international organization granting the Masters of Linen hallmark is based in New York and Paris and acts as spokesman for quality European linens. The Masters of Linen hallmark is granted to linen products manufactured in Western Europe using environmentally friendly growing and spinning practices.
Wash in 100°F in plenty of water separate from other laundry, maximum of 140°F. Avoid hard spinning and reshape whilst damp. Do not tumble-dry . Iron or mangle when still damp. Linen shrinks c. 7 %.
