Jukka Rintala made his first designs for interior decoration a few years ago, in connection with a project for the Central Ostrobothnia Polytechnic. It was linen, so luxurious and fashionable in interior
decoration right now, which connected him with three Finnish interior textile manufacturers - Jokipiin Pellava, Lennol and VM-Carpet.

The strong brushwork of the artist gave the products of these enterprises distinguished, modern forms and colours. His interior textiles in carpets, bed cloths and bath textiles can be regarded as works of art within interior decoration.
