A rare Tapani Vanhatalo pewter Tiger Eye design necklace from 1960's. This piece is from an old jewelry store estate sale and has never been worn.

In 1960 Tapani Vanhatalo founded a jewelry store "Times Jewelry" in Lahti, Finland where he started to make pewter jewelry in 1967. The store moved to Hattula in 1970 and Vanhatalo continued designing jewelry there until 1997. Times Jewelry store still exists in Hattula and is run by Tapani Vanhatalo's children.
